Netflix’s Smart Download feature expands its visibility with “Downloads for You. ”It can now automatically download movies and TV shows that you can, to help you in situations where you find yourself without internet access or in the long run as you travel in the evening. (Remember to travel to and from work? Saving on travel time is one of the few things I’m thankful for for COVID-19.) Previously, Smart Netflix Download would automatically deactivate- move the times you watched and download the next episode of said TV series. But movies (or new shows) were out of the question. With a download for you, Netflix goes a step further.
How to download movies and TV shows automatically on the Netflix app
Naturally, Download Netflix for you is an optional feature that you can turn on within the Netflix app. The feature is only available for Android devices, it is not currently on iPhone and iPad.
- To get started, simply launch the Netflix Android app.
- Then tap on the Download tab.
- There, the toggle hit next to him Download for you.
- On the next screen, decide which storage space you want to dedicate to Download for you. Netflix says 3GB is enough for 12 movies and TV shows.
- Once you’ve made up your mind, tap on it Put it on.
If you change your mind, you can always do not hesitate to download to turn off the Netflix app. Or if you run into storage problems, you can reduce the amount it takes Download > Download wisely.
