Netanyahu: “We will connect resources together with Austria and Denmark in vaccine research”

Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurtz and Danish Prime Minister Mede Fredricsen today (Thursday) reached a joint vaccination summit in Israel with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, preceded by cooperation between the three countries in the fields of research, development and production of corona virus vaccines. During his visit, Kurtz came to the gym of the Holmes Place chain in Modi’in as a minister next to him, and together the two closely followed the activity of the green label given to everyone who was vaccinated or recovered from Corona.

Earlier, Netanyahu said in a controversial statement in an interview with the American Fox News network: “We will be the first country in the world to emerge from the corona. It is behind us.”

During the triple summit meeting, which took place at the King David Hotel in Jerusalem, Netanyahu, Kurtz and Meda Fredriksen announced the unification of resources with Austria and Denmark on the issue of vaccines against the corona virus. The Israeli prime minister said that “we do not know how long the vaccines will last, so we need to play on our residents and generate capabilities by pooling resources so we can cope better.”

The two then met with the Prime Minister of Denmark for a summit meeting at the King David Hotel in Jerusalem on the subject of vaccines and the promotion of a joint corporation to establish a plant for research, development and production of vaccines, after which the three statements will be made to the media. Subsequently, the three leaders will hold an extended working meeting with the professional teams of the three countries.

“Many of the people here have already had a second vaccination. We’m getting to a point where we’ll finish vaccinating the elderly over the age of 50, where there were almost 100% of the most serious patients and deaths. “In five weeks, we will finish vaccinating all those aged 50 and over. Within eight weeks, we will finish vaccinating all people in Israel who are 16 and over, except for those people who are not willing to be vaccinated at any cost,” Netanyahu said in the tripartite meeting.

“The route we are leading now and this is what you see here in this gym, is the green passport which means that you do not wait until everyone is vaccinated, but actually open the economy and the country with the green passport and at the same time progress with vaccines. This is what can be seen in Israel. “For a long time. We do not know about the mutations, there are different variants. I think we should continue, it is better to be careful. People will be more willing to wear masks if they feel they are coming back to life. It is a small price to pay,” he added.
