U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi spoke with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday to “reaffirm the unbroken connection between our countries and unwavering support for Congress for a safe Israel.”
The California representative’s call comes as Israel seeks to end personal tensions between Netanyahu and U.S. President Joe Biden over disagreements over a number of high-profile issues – including Israeli relations- Palestine and Iran threat.

According to Pelosi, she and Netanyahu considered “the COVID-19 response and our shared hope for regional peace, including a two-state solution that is direct, sustainable and sustainable.”
