Will the only masks we know next year be Purim masks? Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu uploaded a humorous video to social media today (Thursday) to encourage Israelis who have not yet been vaccinated, and called: “Do not be clowns, get vaccinated.” In the video, Netanyahu talks about the “delivery of the doses” he brought to the citizens of Israel – the first dose and the second dose of the vaccine.

In a video in the spirit of Purim, Netanyahu is seen standing with a megaphone in a vaccination compound. He jokes, among other things, with a man in a dog costume, a talkbackist, Halisi from “Game of Thrones” in the male version and a clown. During a conversation, he refutes popular rumors and conspiracies against the vaccines and promises: “The State of Israel will be the first country to emerge from the corona – thanks to the millions of vaccines we have brought.”
Netanyahu even signed the video with the promise: “This will be the last Purim with the Corona.”
The video that appeared on Netanyahu’s official pages was accompanied by the caption: “Do not be a clown. Go get vaccinated and with the green passport we will return to life!”. During the day he managed to garner thousands of likes and hundreds of comments and shares. Many of the responses mentioned the need to get vaccinated in order to get out of the plague.
