Along with all this, the Ministry of Health published this morning the latest data on corona morbidity, which shows that 5,154 of the 78,203 new tests for the virus performed yesterday were found to be positive. The rate of positive results stands at 6.6%.
There are currently 50,041 active patients in Israel, 1,328 of whom are in hospitals in the country. 797 are hospitalized in critical condition (262 of them in critical condition). 203 of the patients are respiratory. To date, 3,433 people have died in Israel from the virus. In addition, there are currently 4,305 verified and isolated health care staff members – 522 of whom are doctors and 1,146 are brothers and sisters.
Since midnight, 25,326 new tests have been performed, 1,145 of which have been positive – so that the positive result rate as of the 10:07 update is 4.5%.
