Neighbors Coleen and Wayne Rooney stop building a passenger site

Neighbors of the famous family have thwarted plans to convert land near the £ 20 million Coleen and Wayne Rooney estate in Cheshire into a commuter site.

The Sun reports that a petition has begun with locals of more than 1,000 signatures to stop the proposed site, which was being turned from former agricultural land.

The land is located somewhere between former Manchester United player Wes Brown and the home of Real Housewives Of Cheshire star wife, and Rooneys property – which includes a luxury underground spa and gym, cinema room, 40 acres of land with stables and full -size football pitch.

East Cheshire Council has now blocked the plans, following complaints.

Complaints included the lack of COVID-19 preparations in the proposals, as well as the site posing a ‘threat to the local community’ and a ‘fear of more crime’.

According to a planning report, ‘more people and caravans were living on the site, eventually 13 touring caravans, taking up between 40 and 50 people’, leading to a council trial to stop put on any construction work.
