Neanderthals may have used the same Nubian tools as homo sapiens, a study says

A new study suggests that Neanderthals used Nubian machines, previously thought exclusive to homo sapiens, getting rid of theories that the two groups never mixed with each other. The statement comes after scientists examined the tooth found near the remains of a nine-year-old Neanderthal child in Levant, present-day Palestine. In the study published in Scientific Reports, researchers from the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Human History suggest that Neanderthals did not use modern human devices but may have interacted with them physically and socially.

Neanderthals are a group of extinct primates, living all over Eurasia about 40,000 years ago. It is believed that Neanderthals may have become extinct due to a major change in climate, an unknown disease, or a combination of both of these factors. Neanderthals themselves are thought to have used very sophisticated technology and may also have had some of the stone tools used by modern people. But it has always been suggested that Neanderthals never used Nubian technology, which now seems to be wrong.
