Here ‘s a daily dose of surprise for you: a spacecraft, one that is currently spinning through the inner solar system on its way to the sun, found a picture of six planets of the solar system – Mars , Saturn, Jupiter, Venus, Earth and Mercury, all shining in the light of the star.
NASA’s Parker Solar Probe, launched in August 2018, uses Venus ’gravity well to sweep ever closer to the Sun over the next few years; one of its solar flybys can get as close as 3.83 million miles. As well as getting an unprecedented view of the stellar furnace at the heart of our solar system, this is the first spacecraft to fly through the sun’s outer atmosphere, an unheated hot series. understanding at all and called the corona.
As would serendipity, June 7thth last year, their Comprehensive Image Device for Solar Probe or WISPR instrument saw most of the planets of the solar system. These two image frames, sewn together, show the Sun on the left, with the rocky worlds and the gas giants spread out beautifully on the right.
This is not the only spaceship with such great photography capabilities. As pointed out by a recent blog post on NASA’s Earth Observatory blog, the Solar and Terrestrial Relations Observatory or STEREO saw the space agency’s same six worlds from its own home elsewhere in the solar system inside. He fired the sextuplet bullet itself with its heliospheric images, cameras specifically designed to keep track away from the Sun out into space.

Our solar system is cool, from there there is no doubt. But the fact that we can take pictures of it like this, apparently just for fun, is even cooler.
