NASA’s Mars Perseverance rover is set to deliver a four-pound helicopter from the womb next month. The first powered flight over Martian fields is expected to rise.

“Ingenuity test flights are not expected to begin earlier than the first week of April,” NASA officials wrote in a mission update. “The exact timing of the first flight will still be mobile as engineers work out the timeline details for the use and positioning of the Stability and Ingenuity vehicles,” said NASA of their helicopter unit. has chosen a location for the flights.
