The Perseverance rover reached Mars after traveling through deep space for more than 200 days. A perseverance rover, which has an advanced laboratory on board, examines the Martian surface looking for any kind of life. The rover lies near Jezero Crater, which apparently had its own river delta and was filled with water about 3.5 billion years ago. The rover looks for life around the 45-kilometer-wide crater. The mission aims to bring samples back to Earth for further analysis due to a more sophisticated laboratory here. The probe was launched on July 30 during the crucial small window that opened for launch to Mars last year.
