history. Said Moulay, the Iranian judoka, is currently competing in the Grand Slam final in Tel Aviv, when he aspires to win the gold medal on Israeli soil. After the well-publicized arrival in Israel and of course the series of threats and sanctions he left behind, the judoka who received respect from the crowd wants to end a dream day in first place weighing up to 81 kg in a battle against Sharupidin Boltboev from Uzbekistan.
Even before the final, Mulai met in the first battle with the Azeri Zalim Tetzkayev, who defeated Segev Ben Harush and prevented the Israeli from meeting the Iranian. Mulai started competing in the second round and defeated Hazari after two Vasari. In his second fight in the third round, the Iranian defeated the Italian Antonio Esposito in Vasari and thus qualified for the quarterfinals of the competition.
For the past eight years, Moulay Bazari has beaten German Dominic Russell. In the semifinals, the Iranian defeated Aslan Lefingov of Russia and thus secured a medal on Israeli soil. As you may recall, Sagi Muki was eliminated earlier and thus avoided a meeting between the two in a battle for a medal.
