Mourinho valid: Our important players are hiding

Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham suffered their ninth loss of the season in the Premier League last night (Sunday) and have moved significantly away from the top places to Europe next season. One of the victims of the ‘special’ at the press conference after the game against Arsenal was Gareth Bale who was replaced in the 56th minute.

The Portuguese coach did not hesitate to provide explanations as to why he replaced the Welsh attacking player: “We needed more intensity on the pitch, some of the important players are hiding. We need to be more powerful on the grass. ”

Gareth Bale’s future is not clear at the moment. The player, who holds a contract with Real Madrid until 2022, was loaned to the Roosters last summer and experienced a kind of resurgence that translates into six goals he scored just last month. However, he still receives much criticism from his coach when it comes to his conduct.
