Mourinho suggests Alli are unhappy at Tottenham as he remains unopposed about a possible move

The Spurs boss has admitted that there is no such thing as a completely happy dressing room as they discuss the future of the midfielder.

Jose Mourinho has said Dele Alli is unhappy with his current Tottenham career as rumors of a move revolve around an England midfielder.

Alli has been in and out of the picture since Mourinho took over at Spurs last season, with the midfielder all but banned from Portugal’s manager’s plans in this campaign.

The England star has only scored four goals in the league this season, playing a total of 74 minutes in the Premier League.

While he has appeared more prominently in cup competitions, Alli’s lack of league action has led to several rumors of a move, with former manager Mauricio Pochettino and Paris Saint-Germain reportedly being among the lawyers which he may have.

And, when asked if Alli is unhappy with his current role at Spurs, Mourinho questioned whether a team full of players is not happy, although he would not promise a possible move for a midfielder.

“In every dressing room there are unhappy players,” said Mourinho. “Of course. If any of us, of my tribe, tells you that in his dressing room there are only happy players, no i think it’s true.or someone is so lucky to have a miracle in their hands.

“You can [an] dissatisfied professional and the dissatisfied professional is the one who is dissatisfied but who feels obligated to work, work, work and work. And there are those who are frustrated who believe that fighting and working every minute is not a job for the squad and for the club. ”

Mouriho continued: “The question is whether I will let Dele go without a player in return and I am not going to answer that.

“It’s not a question I’m comfortable answering. Of course, I would know how to respond. But I am not ready to answer. I am not ready to reveal my vision of the situation. ”

Alli has been with Tottenham since 2015, following their acquisition from MK Dons. He has made a total of 234 appearances for Spurs, having been named PFA Team of the Year twice.

Spurs are currently sixth in the Premier League, six points behind league leaders Manchester United, who face Liverpool in second place this weekend.

Meanwhile Tottenham will have Mourinho against Sheffield United on Sunday before turning their focus towards the FA Cup goal against Wycombe.
