Motorola has unveiled a pair of new handsets in its “Moto” series, which offer specifications designed for the low-end market and also feature fairly low prices. The Moto G30 and Moto G10 models both come with large screens and a higher refresh rate in the more advanced model, alongside a large battery and a price that does not exceed 200 euros.

Moto G30 – Technical Specifications

The Moto 30 is the more advanced of the two, and combines a screen with a high refresh rate of 90 Hz. The screen comes in a 6.5-inch size and is an IPS LCD panel with + HD resolution, with a layout of 720 × 1600 pixels with a recess in the letter ‘V’ configuration, which incorporates a selfie camera with a 13-megapixel sensor.

Beyond the back of the machine is a biometric fingerprint reader in a saucer that displays the Motorola logo, as well as the square photo array. This is led by a 64-megapixel camera that divides all 4 pixels close to 1 to create a 16-megapixel image, with each pixel coming in size 1.4 microns. The main camera will insert light into the sensor through an f / 1.7 aperture key, to display brighter images while shooting in low light conditions.

In addition to the main camera, Motorola in the Moto G30 also incorporates an 8-megapixel camera for taking 118-degree wide-angle images and a pair of 2-megapixel sensors for depth capture and macro photography, while on the video side there is support for maximum 1080p recording in 1080p at 60 frames .

Under the hood is the Snapdragon 662 chipset, which Qualcomm introduced about a year ago. The chipset is manufactured in an 11nm process and combines a processor with 8 Kryo 260 cores divided into powerful Cortex-A73 cores at a maximum frequency of 2 GHz, and cost-effective Cortex-A53 cores at a maximum frequency of 1.8 GHz, with the graphics accelerator coming from the Adreno 610 model.

Next to the processor is 4 or 6 GB of RAM, a built-in storage component of 128 GB with expansion option and a 5,000mAh battery that supports fast charging with a power of up to 20 watts via a USB-C connection. The device comes with support for Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC and even offers a 3.5 mm socket for connecting wired headphones.

Moto G10 – the technical specifications

The Moto G10 model also offers a 6.5-inch screen, but settles for a standard refresh rate of 60 Hz, with a selfie camera with an 8-megapixel sensor placed in the recess in its head. The main camera array on the back of the device comes with 4 cameras as well, but the main camera comes with a 48-megapixel sensor with an f / 1.7 aperture key, instead of the G30’s 64-megapixel camera.

Under the lid is the Snapdragon 460 chipset, which is manufactured in an 11nm process and combines an 8-core Kryo 240 processor with a maximum frequency of 1.8 GHz and the Adreno 610 graphics accelerator. The memory side has a capacity of 4 GB, with a storage component of 64 or 128 Gigabit with expansion option, with the battery also remaining in this model with a high capacity of 5,000mAh, but with a charging rate of only 10 watts.
