Mortal Kombat shooter promises bloody film, real action for the games

Mortal Kombat A trailer is out now – take over here! The Warner Bros. Pictures has released the first two-and-a-half-minute trailer for the R-rate variation (certified “A” in India) of the Mortal Kombat video game series, which features a full action and bloody look at the fantasy film. In today’s age, Mortal Kombat essentially falling into the superhero genre, with the various powers available here: fire, ice, lightning, a pair of double-handed, and more. Aquaman it is represented by director James Wan Mortal Kombat, with Simon McQuoid making his first guided tour.

Sonya Blade (Jessica McNamee) will appear at the beginning of the Mortal Kombat trailer that she first met a superhuman on a mission in Brazil seven years ago. More importantly, that superhuman had the same dragon mark as our main character, Cole Young (Lewis Tan). Cole thinks it’s a birthmark, but Jax (Mehcad Brooks) tells him he’s “elected”. Blade said: “Throughout history, different cultures around the world have witnessed great competition of heroes”.

As you may have already guessed, this tournament is called “Mortal Kombat”. Enter the alliance of heroes: Sonya (McNamee), Kano (Josh Lawson) who has a laser in one of his eyes, Liu Kang (Ludi Lin) who can control a fire as it is carried from Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Jax (Brooks) who has a pair of cybernetic arms, Kung Lao (Max Huang), and Lord Raiden (Tadanobu Asano) who can handle lightning. It is the duty of this group to save the Earth, obviously.

The villain plunges himself deep into the Mortal Kombat trailer, and it’s clear that the superhuman we’re showing at the beginning is: Sub-Zero (Joe Taslim). He can do amazing things with ice, be it creating a sword made of ice or a wall with which he then breaks into enemies. In response, his opponent launches a catch hook and shouts his famous line: “Get over here”.

In addition to McNamee, Tan, Brooks, Lawson, Lin, Huang, and Asano, Mortal Kombat also featuring Chin Han as Shang Tsung, Hiroyuki Sanada as Scorpion, Sisi Stringer as Mileena, Daniel Nelson as Kabal, Elissa Cadwell as Nitara, Matilda Kimber as Emily Young, and Laura Brent as Alison Young. McQuoid will direct a script with Greg Russo and Dave Callaham. Mortal Kombat is a production of New Line Cinema, Atomic Monster Productions, and Broken Road Productions for Warner Bros.

Mortal Kombat released April 16 on HBO Max in the US and in cinemas around the world, including India.
