A model developed by researchers at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows that people who do not show symptoms for Covid-19 are responsible for more than half of the cases of SARS-CoV- 2. The data, collected from a multiple Chinese study, were used to determine the proportion of presymptomatic people (who shed a virus before developing symptoms), asymptomatic and symptomatic people in the crowd. The results of the model were published on January 7 in the journal Open JAMA Network. The model reiterates the findings of previous studies, showing that asymptomatic individuals contribute to the rapid release of Covid-19.
According to the recent model, 59 percent of transmissions of the novel coronavirus begin with asymptomatic individuals, and 35 percent of new cases start with presymptomatic individuals, who take others before any Covid-19 symptoms appear.
“30 percent of people with disease never develop symptoms and are 75 percent as infectious as those who develop symptoms,” the authors of the study wrote. “These findings suggest that measures such as wearing masks, hand hygiene, social distance, and strategic testing of non-sick people will be the basis for slowing down the release of Covid-19 so that safe and effective vaccines will be widely available and used, “they added.
Airlines are trying to reassure a frightened public that measures such as mandatory face masks and hospital-level air filters make sitting in an airplane safer than many other indoor situations during a coronavirus pandemic, but no. it doesn’t work. AP
Earlier, the World Health Organization and the CDC was on fa-near some people with Covid-19 may not show up until 14 days after becoming infected.
Asymptomatic transmission has been the subject of studies from early days of Covid-19 pandemic. A study published March 12 in a peer-reviewed medical journal Eurosurveillance, found that 17.9 percent of the 3,711 passengers and crew members on board the Diamond Princess cruise ship – the site of the Covid-19 flagship event – were uncommon. Even if the isolated symbolic cases – quarantine until they overcame or tested negative for the coronavirus – would have resulted in a “major revolution” anyway, the study concluded.
‘Silent transfer’ was the term used in the July 6 survey in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, referring to the onions of Covid-19 diseases with asymptomatic and presymptomatic individuals. The recent CDC analysis contributes to growing evidence that testing and isolation of covid-19-coated patients alone does not inhibit the transmission of SARS-CoV-2 in the community. .
