More than 4,000 died from corona in Israel

The number of corona victims in Israel has crossed the 4,000 mark. This is according to data from the Ministry of Health published tonight (Sunday) and correct at 21:30, according to which 4,005 people died from the outbreak of the plague. 80 passed away over the weekend, about a thousand patients died within about a month.

According to the data, yesterday 5,060 new carriers were diagnosed in Corona in 71,689 tests, a positive rate of 7.2%.

The number of people infected with the virus since the beginning of the epidemic is 548,332 people. Today the number of active patients stands at 81,044 people.

The number of people vaccinated in the first dose is 2,101,931. In the second dose, the number of vaccinators is 290,152.

The number of staff members in isolation stands at 4,770 people, of whom 487 are doctors and 1,258 are nurses.

This coming Tuesday, the government will convene to discuss extending the closure, which expired this coming Friday, for another week. In addition, the Ministry of Health demands that the obligation of insulation in hotels for returnees from Dubai come into effect as early as tonight.
