MOPAR Sweden hires Carnival exec Jessica Pope in English language drama push – TBI Vision

Swedish production house MOPAR Studios has hired Jessica Pope as creative drama director as part of an effort on English and thrush drama content.

Pope, who will take office from February 1, will be responsible for consolidating the MOPAR brand and directing his creative vision as well as over-seeing. She reports to MOPAR COO William Diskay.

Pope comes together Rig 45 and The last expedition of the Vikings producer MOPAR from Carnival Film & Television UK, where she was a co-producer on seasons four and five of The Last Kingdom.

Prior to joining Carnival, she was an executive producer for BBC Drama Studios and BBC North, where she developed and ran all three seasons of The Musketeers, In addition Burton & Taylor; Good cop; Bert and Dickie and The Inner State.

Pope’s representative also Awareness and Awareness; When I am 64, Archangel and three quarters of Silent evidence as well as removing the biopic Hawking.

Prior to the BBC, Pope worked as a commissioning deputy editor for Channel 4 Drama across incoming showsPyschos; Kid in Cornwall, Lock, Stock… And Anna Karenina.

Diskay described him as “one of the most popular talents in British television, with extensive experience across all production disciplines and a series of international beats under his belt.” He described her role as an “important cornerstone” in MOPAR’s mission to create English language drama with global appeal.
