Modric equals Croatia’s record in the opening game of 2022 winning the World Cup

The Real Madrid star has been a fixture for his country since 2006 and surprisingly led the way to the 2018 World Cup final.

With his appearance in the 2022 World Cup qualifier against Slovenia on Wednesday, Luka Modric added another historic achievement to his prestigious resume as he became the most capable player in his country’s history.
