Tha Moderna Inc. is collaborating with a California study on several cases of possible allergic reactions among people who received the Covid-19 vaccine, the company said Tuesday.

Moderna shares fell 4% Tuesday in afternoon trading in New York.

The company said in a statement Tuesday that about 1.3 million doses were dispensed in that batch. Of those, 964,900 doses have already been distributed to about 1,700 vaccine sites in 37 states, Moderna said. The batch was sent out between January 4 and January 8, and the company expects most of the doses have already been used.

“This investigation is ongoing and Moderna is working closely” with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and CDC “to understand the clinical issues and whether there is widespread relaxation in the use of the lottery,” he said. the company in a statement.

Spokespeople for the FDA and CDC did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

The California Department of Public Health said in its statement Sunday that more than 330,000 doses of the batch were distributed to 287 California providers. The state said you have not been notified to another browser or similar reports of an allergic reaction associated with this badge.
