2020 has been a big year for you, especially if you happen to be named Ava or Oliver.
Both of those names added to the top a list of the most popular baby names for the year according to Spectrum Health Butterworth in Grand Rapids, and they should know. Spectrum delivers more babies than any other hospital in the state of Michigan hitting 6800 babies that have been delivered there so far this year.

One new name is on the list of 10 favorites with some interesting history to it. The name Eleanor, which came in at number seven, is definitely getting an older taste of world style. Interestingly enough this is not the first time the name itself has been found in the top 10. The last time Eleanor’s name was in the top 10, it was on the national list , just being 1918 the year of the Spanish pandemic.
Not to be outdone in the thought process that everything is new again, the boys name Leo found his place in the top ten for the first time making his way to 9th place The name Leo was a major blow back in 1903.
