Will Sergio Aguero return to Spain after a decade at Manchester City? TyC from Argentina announced today (Wednesday) that the Catalan club has submitted an official offer to the striker to end his contract with the English league leader at the end of the season and be able to join in a free transfer.
Aguero is one of Leo Messi’s best friends, and the two have played together in Argentina’s youth teams, although have not yet collaborated on a club career. The purpose of Barcelona’s offer is to persuade the captain to stay at the club, after demanding to leave last summer, in the hope that a reunion with his good friend will affect it.
Three days after he was elected president of Barcelona, it seems that at least outwardly, Juan Laporta is working hard. After yesterday being published on his oral summary with agent Pini Zahavi regarding David Alaba. Now, it will be interesting to see if he manages to add the 32-year-old striker, who previously played for Spain in the Atletico Madrid uniform. As you may recall, leaving Messi in Barcelona was one of Laporta’s promises in the victory speech in the presidential election.
