The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made the happy news on Valentine’s Day.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are expecting their second child, a spokesman for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed Sunday.
“We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are thrilled to be expecting their second child, ”the spokesperson’s statement reads.
The couple, who made the shocking move to step back as senior members of the British royal family last year and have moved to the US, welcomed their first child, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor in the May 2019.
Just a few months ago, Markle opened up about suffering a miscarriage over the summer, in op-ed for the New York Times.
“I knew, as I was holding my first child, that I was losing my second,” Markle wrote in the article.
Since moving to California, the couple has entered into multi-genre deals with Netflix and Spotify, with their way to Hollywood mirroring the path of the former President and first lady Barack. and Michelle Obama, who owns multiple contracts at Netflix and Spotify.
Netflix’s contract, announced in September, covers scripted and non-scripted TV series, documentaries, feature films and children’s programming, through which the couple said they hope to “promote influential content to solve an action. “Before the full partnership was announced, the climber already had projects involving nature docuseries and animated series celebrating inspiring women.

Markle – a former actress, acclaimed long-time U.S. legal drama Suits, when she met Harry – and her husband settled in Montecito and after they kept a low profile in the months after they announced that they would seek financial independence while withdrawing from official royal duties, they began speaking out in public in the second half of last year.
