As in People magazine, Meghan Markle had an affordable but elegant dress while chatting with her husband Prince Harry and friend and guest James Corden. While Harry and Corden went on a bus tour around Los Angeles in a section that appeared Thursday The Late Late Show by James Corden, the FaceTimed Meghan pair after a stop at the original house used in Prince Fresh Bel-Air.
While her dress was barely visible through her short cameo, Meghan, who is expecting her second child from Velvet Torch, a Los Angeles-based family business, had a very affordable design. Meghan appeared on screen with her Puff Sleeve Smock dress, a blue dress above the knee with a smoky front and back. “So this happened today !!” the store wrote on Instagram after the segment went out Thursday.
While chatting with Corden, Meghan revealed a new nickname for her husband. “Haz, how’s your trip about LA going?” She asked, and Corden replied, “Haz? I didn’t know we were calling you ‘Haz’ now.” “You are not my wife,” Harry asked in response.
And when Corden first handed Harry’s phone to Meghan’s FaceTime, Harry posted what she had saved as in his contacts. “How do I find the Duchess?” Said the guest, looking through Harry’s phone.
“M”, Harry replied simply.
Meghan, who has proven time and time again that you don’t have to wear expensive clothes to look like a million buckets, has also worn affordable dresses and flats. During her 2019 royal visit, the Duchess of Sussex wore a pair of USD 100 flats. In 2018, Meghan shook off a few of her other love flats while on her royal tour, including her black pointed toe flats from Rothy’s and her clockwise black Birdt slippers.
Meghan frequently reuses her favorite pieces from her closet, in particular, shoes like her pumps and Aquazzura Matilde crisscross purses. For her 2019 engagement in Cape Town, South Africa, Meghan Markle once again donned the shirt by Veronica Beard which she first submitted in 2018 in Tonga.
