Conor McGregor suffered not-so-simple injuries in his fight this week against Dustin Fourier, in which he lost for the first time in his career by knockout as part of the UFC 257 event in Abu Dhabi. The 32-year-old Irish fighter who suffered a loss in the second round after a series of punches ahead of him will be disabled for at least the next six months.

The Irishman suffered a strong kick to the leg, which he said “killed him completely”, and he is not expected to receive medical approval to compete again at least until July. As you may recall, already at the end of the fight McGregor did say that he was interested in continuing to fight and that he wanted to return to the arena this year, but now all the possible fights attributed to him recently will have to wait.

A rematch against Habib Normgomedov who announced his retirement is not really in sight, but there have been rumors that the fighter who suffered a knockout after 27 fights will return against the one who defeated him and will face the same Fourier again, after in 2014 the Irishman won, Be the breaker of equality, if and when.
