‘It hit me like a ton of bricks’: McFly star Danny Jones’ wife says locking has taken away’ her independence ‘and left her struggling with confusion
McFly star Danny Jones’ wife has said the lockout caused him trouble hitting her “like a ton of bricks”.
The United Kingdom is currently in the midst of its third national closure since March 2020, although June has been identified as a way to return to regularity.
But Georgia Jones, a former England presenter and presenter, said the pandemic had undermined its independence.

She said to Hello! magazine: ‘I had always been very independent, but this took it away. It hit me like a ton of bricks.
‘I finally opened up to Danny. He has struggled with anxiety in the past, but I have never had mental health issues.
‘I’m the one who looks after everyone else and, in a way, I’ve always been so strong in my mind, so suddenly feeling like that, it was surprise. ‘

Singer and guitarist McFly, 34, suggested she should go for counseling that helped her manage her anxiety.
He said: ‘I realized something was wrong. The problem is that you can’t see, but as with physical injuries, you have to repair it, and it’s a long process, and every step you take is a building block to your endurance. ‘
