Marvin Hagler was a ‘miracle’ undoubted global supporter

Marvin Hagler, an undisputed middleweight midfielder, has died at the age of 66, his wife announced Saturday.

Hagler had ruled the split since 1980, but was elected after a controversial loss by Sugar Ray Leonard in April 1987.

Kay Hagler wrote on the official Marvelous Marvin Hagler Fan Club page: “I find it very sad to publish.

“Today sadly my husband, Marvelous Marvin, passed away unexpectedly at his home here in New Hampshire.”

Hagler won 62 of his 67 fights between 1973 and 1987 and is an instructor at the International Boxing Hall of Fame and World Boxing Hall of Fame.

Obedience came from all over the boxing world, including from Barry McGuigan who he named as the greatest middleweight ever.
