Martin Scorsese explores the humor and wonder of comedian Fran Lebowitz in Pretend It’s a City

Director Martin Scorsese returns to Netflix, a year after his Best Picture nominee, The Irishman, with the new documentary Pretend It’s a City.

Scorsese, 78, both directs and appears in front of the camera for this new documentary, exploring the mind of comedian Fran Lebowitz.

The trailer (via Netflix YouTube) shows excerpts of the director’s conversations with the 70-year-old Lebowitz where she gives her thoughts on her boyfriend’s home, New York City.
