And one of the franchise’s most popular stars, Michael Brunelli, has revealed that there are a few rules that participants must follow during arguments.

In a Q&A on TikTok, the 30-year-old personal trainer revealed that the bride and groom are forbidden to confront each other when the cameras are not on.

He said: ‘One of the weirdest things when we were on MAFS was that they weren’t filming all day, so when the camera crew left [at night], they told us, “Don’t learn anything about each other, don’t talk to each other because it has to be on camera.”

‘If you have a fight, you have to stop in the middle of a fight, call the producer so they can take the camera and start recording … then you have to keep up the fight!’

Michael admitted that he and his girlfriend Martha Kalifatidis ‘broke that rule’ a lot in the 2019 season and ‘made our representative cheat’.

After Monday’s two-part MAFS Grand Reunion, Martha joined her boyfriend for a Q&A session on Instagram Live.

When asked about the participants ’salary, Michael said the relationship experts were the‘ biggest earners ’.

Martha, 32, then exclaimed: ‘No, we may have gotten more than them!’

Michael, whose girlfriend seemed to be breaking her contract by talking about pay, replied: ‘Oh, you f ** ked! You’re an idiot … at least, moving on! ‘

The couple also revealed that filming for the Grand Reunion went on for 15 hours, and they didn’t turn on the runway with the experts until around 3am.

‘That’s how you really make a TV show,’ said Martha. ‘You film for 12, 14, 16 hours a day and then you show people 20 minutes.’

The pair have been dating since they met on the 2019 MAFS season, and are one of the few couples to have stayed together after the test.

During the reunion, the two indicated that they might one day start a family while talking to resident expert Mel Schilling.

‘Everyone puts this pressure on, we get the phone calls from home. We get the marriage and the baby questions. It’s always coming up, ‘said Martha.

‘I think it’s a natural progression, it’s definitely going to happen,’ she said.
