Marion Ramsey, who starred as Office Laverne Hooks in the Police Academy franchise, has died.

The date reports that Ramsey’s death at the age of 73 was announced by her management team. Although the cause of death has not yet been announced, they noted that she had recently been ill.

Born on May 10, 1947, Ramsey began his career on stage, appearing in the original Broadway production company and the national tour of the famous music. Hello, Dolly!
