Maria Sharapova is seen for the first time with boyfriend Alexander Gilkes after they announced their involvement while chilling in Malibu
Maria Sharapova was spotted in Malibu on Friday for the first time since she became involved with beau art dealer Alexander Gilkes.
The 33-year-old tennis star and her 41-year-old British girlfriend spent Christmas Day relaxing at a beach house with friends.
The sight comes just over a week after Sharapova announced she said ‘yes’ when Gilkes asked the question.

For a holly outing, Maria wore an attractive red jumpsuit that would be paired with a pair of Nike sneakers with a red swoosh.
She added an elegant touch to the scene while wearing a gray coat and coordinating the look with a colored striped purse.
Gilkes stood beside her in a camel-colored ensemble as they chatted as they looked out over the ocean.
In one knot you could see the ring on her left finger even though she couldn’t share a real picture of it on social media.
Happy Couple: The pair, who have been going for two years before the proposal, chatted and took in the ocean view.
The pair started dating back in 2018 just two years after Gilkes – who has deep royal ties – ended his seven-year marriage to Meghan Markle’s best friend Misha Nonoo.
The first marriage for Sharapova, she was associated with pro tennis Grigor Dimitrov from 2013 to 2015.
At a press conference at the end of September, Dimitrov talked about their separation and said, ‘I think she’s in a good place, I think in her life. She is also the kind of person who when you make such a decision and transition, you know it is for the right cause (reason) and for good. ‘

Announcing her engagement on December 17, she shared some of her favorite photos with the caption, ‘I said yes from the first day we met. This was our little secret, wasn’t it. ‘
Taking to his social media to share his shout out, Gilkes said, ‘Thank you for making me a very happy boy and say yes. I look forward to a life of loving you, and learning from you. ‘
The pair were supported by famous friends such as Hilary Swank and Lily Collins, as Helena Christensen said, ‘I knew from day 1 too.’

Still hiding the ring her hand was in her pocket as she looked giddy as it can get into 2021 with a future marriage.
