“We wanted to keep this back because we didn’t want to spoil the surprise during the big Disney news about the shows when Kathleen Kennedy was up there, so they let me keep this one a secret. , ”Favreau told Good Morning America hosts on Monday. “So this is completely different from the Mandalorian 3 season. But what we said in that release is that the next show is coming – Kathy said the next chapter – and that is the Boba Fett Book.

“And then we go into production just after season 3 of the Mandalorian, back with the main character we all know and love. So that will be pretty soon after that. We’re working on a pre-production on that right now, and we’re producing Boba Fett. ”

Also Monday, Disney unveiled the official logo for the Boba Fett Book, and announced the team and the primary school team. Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen as Boba Fett and Fennec Shand, respectively, will return as expected. Ahsoka was first introduced in 2008 in the movie Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and then went on to play a part in the animated series of the same name, followed by an important role in and Star Wars Rebels.

The Star Wars cinematic universe has grown exponentially since the first release of the Mandalorian in November last year. In the 13-month period, we’ve gone from one live-action Star Wars series to eight.
