Amidror, who served for about two and a half years as chief of staff for national security, served for four years as head of the research division at the Armed Forces, as well as serving for two years as military secretary to the defense minister and for four years as commander of military colleges.
Today, Amidror is a senior fellow at the Anne and Greg Rosshendler Institute at the Jerusalem Institute for Strategy and Security. Amidror is, among others, a graduate of the National Security College and a graduate of the IDF Command and Staff College.
