Vijay’s latest film is about to get off to a good start, if his box office collection in Australia is like anything to go by. A South Indian film that did such a commendable business on the first day of its opening in Australia is going to see a higher success rate on its home.
Managing director Lokesh Kanagaraj swore $ 2,48,000 on Day 1 in Australia. Other South Indian films that have come close to the mark include Mersal, Vijay star and Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar 2.0 science-fiction film.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh also suggested that Master is well on his way to renovating the box office. Adarsh tweeted, “It’s #Tsunami at the #BO… #MasterFilm has a FANTABULOUS START… This will only be confirmed * again *: Give the audience what they want to watch and don’t they will never disappoint you… The charm of watching a good thing will never diminish entertainment on a big screen. #Master #MasterPongal ”
Earlier, Vamsi Kaka, PRO of Master (Telugu), told indianexpress.com, “The response to the pre-order has been amazing. There are requests for additional presentations. It will be the biggest opening for Vijay in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The big collection will be in the first four days, and the distributors will make a profit in no time. ”
With the help of Lokesh Kanagaraj, Master also features Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Arjun Das, Andrea Jeremiah and Shanthanu Bhagyaraj.
