Maccabi Haifa and the Al Ein Football Club from the United Arab Emirates today signed an agreement for sports, technological and business cooperation, in a combined ceremony that took place in Israel and the Emirates, and was broadcast on El Ein TV due to the restrictions of the Corona. It should be noted that the talks between the parties have lasted almost four months, in fact since the signing of the peace agreement between Israel and the Emirates.
As part of the agreement, the clubs will cooperate in loan and transfer of players, advanced training, youth departments, placement of technologies, advanced training, training camps, mutual peace play, business relationships and any future aspect, which will be built in strengthening the relationship between clubs and owners. The management of Maccabi Haifa complimented the club’s general manager, Assaf Ben Dov, who took a very active part in the talks with the team from Dubai.
It was also determined that there will be a pair of historic games between a club from Israel and a club from the Persian Gulf. It should be noted that the “peace game” in El Ein, which was supposed to take place as early as January, was postponed due to the corona. Apparently, the parties will wait until the crowd returns to the pitches to hold the peace game.
