Tonight (Thursday), the women’s team of Maccabi Ben Banot Ashdod achieved a dramatic 96: 102 victory in a home game over Elitzur Neve David Ramla, as part of the 9th round games in the Athena Wiener League for women in basketball, which were postponed due to the Corona. The Herzliya girls achieved a significant away victory over Maccabi Ramat Gan 59:64.

Maccabi Ben Banot Ashdod – Elitzur Neve David Ramla 96: 102

Maccabi Ben Banot Ashdod suffered a second league loss to Elitzur Neve David Ramla, after defeating it at the end of two overtimes. Daniel Adams, in a tremendous evening in which she scored 45 points and picked up 17 rebounds, led her team to the prestigious victory. This coming Monday, the two teams will meet again, in the semifinals of the Women’s National Cup, which will be held in the basketball hall in Yavne.

Maccabi Urban Ramat Gan – Herzliya girls 64:59

An 8:23 run by the Herzliya girls in the last quarter gave them a victory in an away game over Maccabi Urbani Ramat Gan, which played without abandonment Heidman. Kayla Hillsman and Alex Harden led Ramat Gan to a 25:32 lead at the end of the first half with 28 points in common, plus 4 points from Eden Rotberg.

Elitzur Holon – Maccabi Raanana 76:86

Four days before the semi-final of the State Cup against Maccabi Urbani Ramat Gan, Elitzur Leica Holon recorded a victory over Maccabi Raanana.

Hapoel Bnei Petah Tikva – Maccabi Haifa 71:64

Maccabi Haifa managed to stop Petlin Tikva’s scorer Jocelyn Willoughby by only 7 points and that was enough for her to win an away game.

Hapoel Rishon LeZion – AS Ramat Hasharon 72:78

Chelsea Nelson’s 25 points led Rishon Lezion to victory over Ramat Hasharon. After a first half that ended with a 42:43 advantage for Rishon Lezion, with 17 points by Chelsea Nelson against 16 by Jenny Sims, the teams advanced to the second half. The third quarter ended at 11:11 and the last at 19:24 for coach Ziv Erez’s team.
