We got it Capcom vs SNK: 2000 Millennium Fight on the Dreamcast, together SNK vs Capcom: Card Fighter’s Clash on the Neo Geo pocket color. Along with that, we got that too SNK vs Capcom: Millennium Game on an SNK handset – this is probably one of the best one-on-one fights ever made. This collaboration would give us as well Capcom vs SNK 2 on Dreamcast (later ported to PS2, GameCube and Xbox) and SNK vs Capcom Choas on Neo Geo, as well as the somewhat pessimistic SNK vs Capcom DS card fighters some time later.
As the name of this sub-series suggests, each game featured characters from the relevant franchises owned by these two Japanese giants. The game was recently rated for release in that category – a pretty hard sign that a game is in. This is likely to be part of SNK’s routine drive to release several of its most popular Neo Geo Pocket Color titles on Switch; we have already had SNK Gals fighters, Samurai Shodown II, The Last Blade: Beyond the Destiny and First deadly contact.
What is special about this new news is that it is a sign that SNK and Capcom are willing to work together again. While SNK has developed and published this particular game, Capcom ‘s IP is in place so we would assume that a new agreement would need to be signed to hold this re – release.
