After wiping out a two-game “basketball series” against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Golden State Warriors visit for their first three-game streak of the season Thursday night. However, a trip to Phoenix to face the Suns who have just seen the second half of backup on the pack will not come easy.
For the first time in the junior season, the Warriors get a glimpse at the Suns with former point guard Chris Paul leading the way. Despite their strong start, the Suns hit a rough patch, dropping four of their last five games, including a conventional three-game losing streak. Making matters worse, the Suns will be without Devin Booker, the scoring player against the Warriors.
Along with the battle of Curry and Paul in the back court, rookie James Wiseman gets his first minutes against DeAndre Ayton, who was a top pick. While Wiseman comes off a career high of 25 points against the T-Wolves, Ayton is also riding a big chunk of a circle. Arizona’s result has marked a double in four of its last five games.
Before the Warriors land in the desert, here’s how to watch or flush the tournament and everything else you need to know about the matchup.
