The 13th round of the Winner Basket League brings us two teams in excellent shape at the moment, with Bnei Herzliya hosting Hapoel Holon.
For Holonia, the surprising loss in Romema to Hapoel Haifa was forgotten and the team returned to run after 76:98 over Urbani Nahariya. The Yellows-Purples with a balance of six wins versus four losses and they want to keep climbing on the way up.
From the other side of the barricade, the Herzliya have managed to recover from their poor start to the season and have achieved three wins in the last four games. Despite the dreams of the first eight, the hostess still has to look towards the burning bottom and try to escape from it as much as possible.
First quarter: 16:23 to Hapoel Holon
Bnei Herzliya Quintet: Koti Clark, Isaiah Eisendorf, Abdul Gadi, Aviram Zelikovich and Terrell Parks.
Hapoel Holon quintet: Willie Workman, Chris Johnson, CJ Harris, Isaiah Miles and Niv Misgav.
Chris Johnson and Willie Workman raised Holon to a quick 0: 4, Fares from the line and Abdul Gadi managed to equalize. Harris hurried to score for the Purples but Clark made a great dunk on the other side. Parks narrowed down after more Harris baskets from the line, but the same Harris arranged a 0-4 run. Despite this, Clark and Zelikovich managed to reduce to just 16:14. Miles scored a big three less than a minute into the quarter and also translated the offense to a point from the line, Kravitz only narrowed, but Miles scored another wonderful three with the buzzer and gave a 7-point lead.
