Liran Rotman Celebrates (Itzik Blanitzky)
An end to the saga. Shalom Edri and Liran Rotman join Hapoel Hadera, after the latter was on his way to Bnei Yehuda after having already signed with the Hadera, but in the end he relented and chose to join his friend and sign with Menachem Koretzky’s team, the club announced today (Thursday).
Edri, 26, will sign the contract when he recovers from the Corona virus and he will be loaned out of the capital until the end of the season. Edri made 14 appearances this season, but failed to make his mark on the Jerusalem team when he provided just a single goal alongside one touchdown, and it seems that his new team will get more opportunities to help the team stay in the league.
As for Rothman, he was earlier on his way to Hadera and attended training, but there they were surprised to find out later that he was expected to move to Bnei Yehuda. Eventually, the player comes to the rooms in a contract for a season and a half and will also strengthen the team in the underground struggles. Oren Golan He said: “We fought a lot for the two players, they are very important to us. With their help and with the additional acquisition we made in opening the transfer window, Hapoel Hadera will be able to meet its goals.”
Meanwhile, Koretzky has not rested and in the days since his arrival and together with the club management are looking for a foreign striker who will strengthen the front, therefore, Hadera are interested in adding players who can help the attack and especially create goals to score points and survive the underground struggles with a ticket to another season in the Premier League.
