Acknowledging Instagram, he wrote: ‘Hey World, I haven’t been here for a while. I am in the mountains training every day, getting my mind and body right. I walk to the top of the hill every morning. 3 of those walks I ski cross country once I reach the peak which is at 3400m, killing.

‘I like altitude training, it has less oxygen so it’s harder to work out than it is at sea level, just walking up the stairs you feel at 2000m. Usually when I finish training here and return to sea level running is so great. ‘

He said: ‘I’m trying to find the right balance in cardio and strength building. Plus, there’s a lot of work going on in the background. Lots of moving parts but just doing some research to tell you that I am doing well, I am healthy and strong in my mind right now in the bubbles.
