Lewandowski joins CR7, Messi and Zlatan on a decorated list with 500th goal against Schalke

Defending Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich extended the lead at the top of the league table after winning against Schalke 04. Stats Lewandowski: 272nd goal at Pole for Bayern vs Schalke

Interestingly, Lewandowski has scored 272 goals for the defending European champions as he continues his impressive run of form in his seventh season with the Bavarians. In his previous time with Borussia Dortmund, he picked up an impressive set of 103 goals in 187 appearances over four seasons.

The strike against Schalke also saw FIFA ‘s favorite player for men who added another impressive name to his name. The 32-year-old has now become the only player in Bundesliga history to score in eight consecutive away games, scoring 10 goals during this incredible run.

Bayern hold an elegant Bundesliga lead
