Leverkusen was defeated again, as were Dabour and Hoffenheim

Beginning of an article

After a particularly short winter break, the Bundesliga is back in our lives. Since Bayern Munich will only play tomorrow (Sunday) against the weak Mainz, Leverkusen missed an opportunity to temporarily climb to the top for 24 hours following a 2: 1 loss to Frankfurt. Moanes Dabour once again came on as a substitute in Hoffenheim’s 3-1 loss to Freiburg at home. Below: Leipzig will try to take first place, if they beat the great Stuttgart.

Frankfurt – Leverkusen 1: 2
After the brutal loss to Bayern, Peter Foss’ team opened the first game of 2021 in a great way. Florian Wirtz bounced an ingenious ball into the box, Nadim Amiri took control of it in a wonderful round and elegantly subdued Kevin Trapp already in the ninth minute and made it 0: 1 to Leverkusen. The locals got back into the game very quickly. In the 22nd minute, the Swiss Jibril Sue found Amin Yunes, who defeated Lucas Herdecki in a one-on-one and made it 1: 1.

Frankfurt gained confidence and managed to set up a reversal in the 58th minute. The Japanese Daichi Kamada passed a ball wide and Edmund Tapasova went far in the wrong direction with an own goal, which gave Eintracht 1: 2. Kamada could have finished an interest in the 73rd minute, when he was left alone in the center of the extension and sent Walla with his right foot over Radecki’s goal.

Hoffenheim – Freiburg 3: 1
Sebastian Hans’ team had hoped to open the new civil year on the right foot but suffered a terrible first half blow. Baptiste Santamaria made it 0-1 after just 7 minutes and Vincenzo Grifo doubled the lead after a touchdown in the 34th minute. Three minutes before the whistle for the break, Kasim Noho scored for his own goal and it was already 3-0 for the visitors from the Black Forest.

In the second half, there was a certain recovery for Hoffenheim after Elhas Babo (58) shot into the high net and shrank the result. Moanes Dabour, who has only started in one of the last seven league games, came up as a substitute for a quarter of an hour, but unfortunately failed in a short time to change the evil of the decree and Hoffenheim continues to populate the bottom of the table.

In more games: Union Berlin continues its magical season with 0: 2 over Werder Bremen away from goals from Saraldo Becker (12) and Taiwan Avenue (28) to rise at least temporarily to fourth place. Borussia Mönchengladbach beat Bielefeld 0-1 from a goal by Brill Ambolo (58) and Augsburg beat Cologne Brain Energi Stadium 0-1 thanks to a goal from Iago (77).
