Yesterday (Sunday), employees of the School of Coaches and Sports Medicine submitted a letter of protest to the director of the Shai Avrahami Institute following his remarks towards the transparent employees of the institute in the maintenance, cleaning, warehouse, kitchen and other departments.
A letter sent by the chairman of the workers’ committee, Kuti Deri, to the director of the institute, states that the director of the institute said in a horrible manner to the workers, “I will tell you more in the conversations I had with him about the placements.” For warehouse workers? For maintenance workers? For kitchen workers? And more .. Which ones do you care about? They should say thank you to me that I even care about their salary! “Such employees will not employ them anywhere, I as an orderly CEO before Wingate and after Wingate” read the letter of protest.
In addition, the workers are demanding a collective wage agreement, after negotiations that lasted 5 years and after a proposal for an outline has already been formulated with the help of a senior official in the Ministry of Sports, Shai Avrahami, the institute’s director.
Meanwhile, the chairman of the Histadrut, Arnon Bar-David, and the chairman of the Histadrut in the Netanya area expressed support for the institute’s employees and their activities.

Response of the Workers’ Committee

On behalf of the employees of the Wingate Institute, we are full of sorrow and shame at the hurtful and arrogant statements of the Director General of the Institute about the transparent workers who do everything for the success of Israeli sports
Above this stage we demand that the director of the institute take responsibility and resign from his position
We can not stand back and be silent.
