Over the 2020 U.S. Elections, LeBron James vs. Donald Trump was a frequent feature on Twitter as the Lakers star was one of Joe Biden’s strong supporters. The 35-year-old made no secret of his disrespect when the former U.S. President stormed the U.S. Capitol to delay Congress from confirming the election results in November. James asserted that there are two Americans in whom they live and continued with his broader view of the world.

Speaking after the Los Angeles Laker defeated the San Antonio Spurs, LeBron James eloquently criticized the fans who entered the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday. LeBron James had played a t-shirt which said ‘DO WE HAVE NOW?’ in block capital letters as they enter the Staples Center ahead of the Spurs call-up. The t-shirt also featured a slogan used by the Lakers star in the past, “In memory of the countless black people lost by police brutality and racial injustice. about the messages on his t-shirt. The 35-year-old said black people in America are not being respected and will get nothing in return for service to their country but a slap in the face.

LeBron James believes the events at the U.S. Capitol were a direct link to what Donald Trump represents. The Lakers star said America is going to set an example for others but that they looked like a third, fourth or fifth country. The 35-year-old said the whole incident was ‘disgraceful’ and ’embarrassing’. James has always been a vocal critic of Trump and believes that the former U.S. President cares about no one but himself. Players and coaches from both teams locked their arms in a circle at midcourt during the national anthem before Thursday’s game at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles.
