Minnesota (21: 7) – Lakers (7:22) 112: 104
Without the injured Anthony Davis, LeBron James once again carried the champion on his back with 30 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists, en route to an away win over the weak Timberwolves. Dennis Schroeder scored 24 and Montreux Harle added 17 from the bench for the team from Los Angeles. The No. 1 pick in the draft, Anthony Edwards, stood out on the other side with 28 points, Carl Anthony Towns finished with 15 points and a very minor contribution in the rest of the areas.
Phoenix (10:17) – Brooklyn (12:18) 128: 124
A crazy game for the Hunts, who went down to half with a 20-point deficit, in a game where they were already behind at minus 24, but managed to produce an amazing comeback in the second half, and a reversal in the result that was first achieved 31.4 seconds to the end of the game. All this was achieved when Brooklyn came in very short, without the injured Kevin Durant and without Kyrie Irving suffering from back pain and not dressing for the game, but yes with James Harden in a wonderful 38-point display, 14 of 22 from the field, 11 assists, 6 rebounds and 5 From 5 crucial points from the penalty line at the end. Joe Harris added 22 for the Nets, Jeff Green 18, Tyler Johnson 17 and Landry Shamett 13. The Suns were led by Cheryl Paul with 29 points and 7 assists, Devin Booker scored 22 and Diandra Eyton 16.
James Harden and the Nets just showed me. No Durant, no Kyrie and Brooklyn comes back from a zillion down in Phoenix to improve to 18-12 and bump the East back up to two residents in the .600 Club.
