The NBA G League is reportedly finalizing plans to host bubbles starting February at the Wide World of Sports Complex near Orlando, Florida, according to Shams Charania of Athletic.
18 existing teams, in addition to NBA G League Ignite, have chosen to play a 12-to-15 game schedule within the bubble environment, similar to how the site hosted to the NBA for an additional three months this year. Teams ready to participate are likely to pay upwards of $ 500,000 to compete in the bubble.
While 18 teams tied for an NBA team opted into the season, the remaining 11 decided not to play in the bubble as a result, largely related to the financial responsibilities that come with participating.
The teams that submit a team at Disney arrive at their home markets on Jan. 19 and then travel to Orlando a week later. The regular season begins on Feb. 8 with the playoffs set to run March 5-9.

The Ignite, which is not affiliated with the G League franchise or an existing NBA team, features six of the top high school seniors, such as Jalen Green, Isaiah Todd, Jonathan Kuminga and others. Brian Shaw coaches the team and they have been training in Walnut Creek, California.
The team has been involved in live scrimmages against former G League players in the last few weeks and they will now be part of the bubble that is expected to start in February.
