Marseille players celebrate (Reuters)
The 29th round of the French league continues tonight (Saturday) with two games – when Marseille, after going through quite a few ups and downs this season and firing a coach, defeated Brest 1: 3 and came close to the top of the table. Also, Saint-Etienne beat Brest 0-1.
Marseille – Brest 1: 3
The host recorded a second consecutive victory and is at least temporarily in fifth place in the table and very close to its goals of reaching Europe at the end of the season. Brest, on the other hand, could see the red line approaching her as she is now in 13th place. Arkadyush Milik scored for Marseille (45), Lillian Bercia Izen (71), but Bezeq’s goals at the end of Florian Tuban (88) and Mikael Coissans (90) gave him a victory.
Angers – Saint-Etienne 1: 0
The Greens have taken points that are like breathable air for them, and currently stand 8 points above the red line as failures have a game in hand. Angie who is recording a good season has not been able to climb any further upwards. Wahbi Hazari made the difference (53).
