Lapid: “Bennett and Saar will agree to sit in government with joint support”

Lapid broke silence – and caused a political storm 16 days before the election: Chairman of Yesh Atid, MK Yair Lapid, was interviewed today (Sunday) after a long period and said that he “is not moved by the statements of a campaign, (Gideon) Saar and (Naftali) Bennett will finally agree to sit in the government with the joint support.” Lapid made the remarks at the N12’s influencers’ conference.
A new Tikva chairman and a right-wing chairman were quick to deny it. Bennett tweeted on his Twitter account: “Will not be and will not be.” Saar tweeted: “It won’t happen.”

“Likud voters must go to the polls because only a vote for the Likud will prevent Meir Lapid from becoming prime minister and ensure the establishment of a stable right-wing government that will work for all Israeli citizens.”

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said: “For a change, Yair Lapid told the truth today: Gideon and Bennett sat under him, along with Merav Michaeli, Meretz and the joint list. That is true. This election is between a stable right-wing government headed by me and an unstable government of Yair Lapid “.
