Lady Gaga shares a first look at it Gucci House, the upcoming biographical crime film by Ridley Scott, based on the novel of the same name. It follows a dramatic version of real-life events that led to the assassination of Maurizio Gucci, former head of the fashion house and grandson of Gucci’s founder, Guccio Gucci.
The award-winning actress and singer posted the photo on her Instagram from the film set with the caption, “Signore e Signora Gucci” which translates to “Mr and Mrs Gucci”. Lady Gaga will play Patrizia Reggiani, Maurizio Gucci’s ex-wife who will be played by Adam Driver.
Both dressed in 1980s-themed ski clothing, Gag wears a black dress, gold chains and white Cossack hat while a driver wears a cable knit turtleneck jumper and a white jacket wrapped around his waist .

It was announced in November 2019 that Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta and who also has Italian ancestry, will direct Reggiani’s role for the film. Reggiani has been charged with aggravated murder in Maurizio Gucci in 1995, serving 18 years in prison. She earned the nickname, Black Widow before being released in 2016.
Gucci House this is Gaga’s film from her Oscar-nominated performance in her first film, A star is born. Gaga co-star Driver received Oscar nominations for Marriage Story and BlacKkKlansman. The team also includes Al Pacino, Jared Leto and Jeremy Irons. The film was slated for release on November 24, 2021.
